Lord of the Rings was one of the earliest games to offer multi-player/multi-role options. This sequel to
The Hobbit allowed the player to be up to four hobbits, each with his own characteristics and idiosyncrasies. The added complexity of the game meant that it could be played repeatedly with multiple endings.
